East Bengal FC has written to the federation requesting to postpone the derby of the development league. In fact, East Bengal is starting its journey in the second division league of the I-League on the 4th April against Shillong Lajong FC at Naihati stadium.
On the other hand, the Derby of the Development League is on the 7th.
East Bengal FC’s most of the players who are playing Reliance Foundation Development League will also play in Hero Second Division League, hence the problem raised.
