East Bengal FC Reserve team lost their opening match against Shillong Lajong FC by 1-0 in Hero I-League Second Division Group B match at Naihati Stadium.
Pursunep scored the only goal of the match in 50’ for Shillong Lajong FC.
The Red & Gold Reserve team have been clubbed with Shillong Lajong FC, United SC and The Diamond Rock in Group B.
East Bengal FC will face United SC in their next match.
