East Bengal FC topped Group A of Kanyashree Cup 2023-24 with 19 points.
In their last match of the group, the Moshal Girls were awarded walkover when Invention FCC withdrew their team. Thus East Bengal FC was declared winner by 3-0.
Moshal Girls scored 44 goals and conceded 2 in six matches. Sulanjana Raul had scored 15 goals and is the leading scorer of the tournament till now.
East Bengal FC earlier, defeated Kalighat Sports Lovers Association 11-1, West Bengal Police SC 7-1, Amuzi Bally Gramanchal Krira Samity 5-0, Mohammedan SC 7-0, MATUA SNOSC 11-0 while played goalless draw with New Alipore Suruchi Sangha.
Both East Bengal FC and New Alipore Suruchi Sangha had 19 points, but the Women Red & Gold brigade topped with better goal difference of +42.
East Bengal FC will face Moitree Sansad in semi-finals.
