East Bengal FC U17 played a 2-2 draw with Lah Bet FC U17 in U17 Dream Sports Championship National Round at CIDCO Ground, Kharghar, Mumbai on Monday.
Earlier, the Moshal Colts defeated FC Goa 4-1.
East Bengal FC is leading the Group B table with four points from 2 matches. A win against Mumbai City FC will ensure them a place in final.
East Bengal FC will next face Mumbai City FC on June 5.
East Bengal FC, Mumbai City FC, Football 4 Change, Lah Bet FC, Roundglass Punjab FC, Chennaiyin FC, FC Goa and Dempo SC had qualified for National Round. The eight-finalists had been divided into two groups and the winner of each group shall play the final on June 7.
Earlier, East Bengal FC U17 defeated United SC U17 in penalty shootout 1-1 (6-5), in Zonal Leg final, before defeating Adamas United SA U17 2-0 and Ariadaha Sporting Club U17 7-0 in Group Stage.
