Kalinga Super Cup Champions East Bengal FC will face Altyn Asyr of Turkmenistan in AFC Asian Champions League Two qualifier. The match is scheduled on 14 August, 2024. The match might be played at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.

The winner of this match will be granted a place in the AFC Champions League II group stages while the losers will also be granted a place in the group stages of the AFC Challenge Cup. 

East Bengal club has been extremely successful among Indian football clubs in the international arena, having won four trophies on foreign soil including the famous ASEAN Club Championship in 2003.

East Bengal club had appeared twice in Asian Club Championship (1985–86, 1998–99), five times in Asian Cup Winners’ Cup (1991–92, 1993–94, 1994–95, 1995, 1997–98) with the best result was quarter-final appearance in 1991-91, eight times in AFC Cup (2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015) with a semi-final appearance in 2013.
