East Bengal FC women’s team secured place in POT 1 of 25-26 AFC Women’s Champions League. The seeding for the draw was based on the AFC Women’s Club Competition Ranking 2024-25 that was released on May 26.
The Moshal Girls are ranked 11. The other teams in POT 1 are Kaohsiung Attackers FC of Chinese Taipei, Stallion Laguna FC of Philippines, College of Asian Scholars of Thailand and Kelana United of Malaysia.
Clubs from the top eight-member associations – Japan, Australia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Iran and UAE qualified directly to the group stage, while the remaining 13 clubs entered at the preliminary stage.
The Draw of the Preliminary Stage will take place on July 3 at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur.
