East Bengal FC Women’s Team signed Fazila Ikwaput, Shilky Devi & Payal Basude for the 2025-26 season

East Bengal FC announced the signing of Ugandan national team forward Fazila Ikwaput, Blue Tigresses Midfielder Shilky Devi and goalkeeper Payal Basude for the 2025-26 season.

All three are joing the Moshal Girls team from Gokulam Kerala FC.

The Red & Gold Women’s team building a formidable team that can defend Indian Women’s League & Kanyashree Cup and compete at the highest level of AFC Women’s Champions League.

Fazila was the top scorer in the previous two editions of the IWL. She represented the Kazakhstan club BIIK-Shymkent in 2018 at the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Midfielder Shilky and goalkeeper Payal are key members of the Blue Tigresses.

Apart from them, East Bengal have retained Panthoi Chanu, Mamani Das, Sarita Yumnam, Sathi Debnath, Supriya Kispotta, Riya Sarkar, Karthika Angamuthu, Sandhiya Ranganathan, Sangita Basfore, Thandamoni Baskey, Soumya Guguloth, Sulanjana Raul, Sandhya Maity, Resty Nanziri.

Moreover, six players were signed on two-year contracts last season – Naorem Priyangka Devi, Buli Sarkar, Astam Oraon, Ngangbam Sweety Devi, Ashalata Devi, Sushmita Lepcha.
