East Bengal FC defeated Gokulam Kerala FC 3-0 in Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2024-25 at East Bengal Ground on Friday and thus won their maiden IWL title in third season and also Qualified for AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary stage. The Moshal Girls were already won the title before the match started, but the girls had shown their consistency in the last match also to ensure their dominance in IWL 24-25.

For Moshal Girls, Elshaddai Acheampong (27’, 37’) scored a brace while Soumya Guguloth (42’) added the third.

East Bengal FC thus finished the campaign with 37 points from 14 matches with 12-win, 1 draw and 1 loss.

Earlier, in First Leg, East Bengal FC defeated Sethu FC 3-0, Nita Football Academy 4-1, Sribhumi FC 1-0, Kickstart FC 2-0, HOPS FC 1-0, Odisha FC 3-1, lost to Gokulam Kerala FC 3-2.

In second Leg, defeated Odisha FC 1-0, HOPS FC 6-1, Nita Football Academy 5-1, Kickstart FC 2-0 and Sethu FC 4-2, played a 1-1 draw with Sreebhumi FC.
