East Bengal FC won the SAFF Women’s Club Championship 2025 title after defeating Nepal’s APF (Armed Police Forces) 3-0 in the final at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Saturday.

For East Bengal FC, Fazila Ikwaput scored a brace in 22′ & 46′ while Shilky Devi scored the other goal in 35′.

Shilky Devi Hemam won the Player of the match, Panthoi Chanu won the Best Goalkeeper Award, Fazila Ikwaput with 9 goals won the Top Scorer Award and Player of the Tournament award.

Earlier, in Group Stage, they defeated Transport United Ladies FC of Bhutan 4-0, Karachi City FC 2-0, Nasrin Sports Academy 7-0 and played a goalless draw with Armed Police Force FC.

The Moshal Girls became the first Indian women’s football team to win an international tournament.

Earlier, they became first Indian women’s football team to win an AFC Women’s Champions League match and earned enough co-efficient points to make sure IWL winners doesn’t have to play AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary round.

With this title, East Bengal won the fifth International Trophy which is also highest by an Indian Club.
