East Bengal FC will start their Indian Super League 2026 campaign on 16th February at Salt Lake Stadium against NorthEast United FC. The season will kick off on February 14 with defending champion Mohun Bagan Super Giant hosting Kerala Blasters at Salt Lake Stadium.
A total of 14 teams will compete in the 12th edition of the Indian Super League (ISL), India’s top-tier men’s football league.
Kolkata Derby is scheduled on May 3, 2026, Sunday.
East Bengal’s performance in ISL was never been as per their reputation as they finished 9th in 2020-21, 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25 and 11th in 2021-22.
