East Bengal Museum “Raja Suresh Chandra Chowdhury Memorial Archive” will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on August 17. The museum will hold the finest and most significant collection of East Bengal History.
The collection will have Videos of famous matches, Jersey and Kits of ex-players, famous and important books and documents related to East Bengal Club history. As a tribute to the famous Pancha Pandavas – Appa Rao, PB Saleh, P Venkatesh, Ahmed Khan and KP Dhanraj – their statues will also be displayed in the museum.
This will be something that football lovers in India will experience for first time.
