Emami East Bengal FC’s head coach, Stephen Constantine is not taking the Kolkata League lightly. The Red & Gold brigade will play the Super Six stage. Hence to build a strong reserve team, the team management have recruited six players from Kerala. They are – Kerala’s captain of Santosh Trophy winning team, T.K. Jesin, Mar Athanasius Football Academy’s defender Adil Amal, Basco’s striker Vishnu TM, Gokulam Kerala FC’s goalkeeper Muhammed Nishad, Kerala United FC’s defender Athul Unnikrishnan and Travancore Royals’ forward Lijo Kurusappan.
Also, the red-yellow brigade is thinking about including Sreenidi Deccan FC’s Lalchungnunga in main team. He has already joined East Bengal FC on loan from Sreenidi Deccan FC and played in Durand Cup.
