Hyderabad FC played a goalless draw with NorthEast United FC in the 86th match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
Despite having major ball possession Hyderabad FC failed to break the discipline defense of NorthEast United FC. Hyderabad FC registered just one shot on target against NEUFC in the first half, their lowest against any opposition this season. The second half proved to be dull, with neither team able to register a single shot on target. With this draw Hyderabad FC moved to third place on goal difference, while the Highlanders climbed to fourth place above FC Goa, though the Gaurs have a game in hand.
Federico Gallego bagged the DHL Winning Pass of the Match Award. While, Lalengmawia won Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match table toppers Mumbai City FC will play against FC Goa. Meanwhile ATK Mohun Bagan will face Bengaluru FC on 9th February while SC East Bengal will lock horn with Hyderabad FC on 12th February.
