Bengaluru FC defeated Mumbai City FC by 4-2 in the 95th match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at GMC Stadium, Bambolim.

A brace each from Cleiton Silva (1’ & 22’) and Sunil Chhetri (57’ & 90’) provided Bengaluru FC a blistering win against Mumbai City FC. Sunil Chhetri made his 200th appearance for Bengaluru FC in this match. Bengaluru FC not content with the lead, kept on attacking which put Mumbai City FC in continuous pressure. Adam le Fondre pulled back for Mumbai City FC twice in 50’ and 72’ but unable to save the side from the defeat.

The loss put Mumbai City FC two points behind ATK Mohun Bagan while Bengaluru FC climbed to sixth place with 22 points and kept alive their hopes for playoff.

The DHL Winning Pass of the Match Award was won by Udanta Singh. Sunil Chhetri bagged the Hero of the Match Award.

In the next match Hyderabad FC will face Kerala Blasters FC.

Meanwhile SC East Bengal will face ATK Mohun Bagan on 19th February. The Second Kolkata Derby of the season will be played at Fatorda Stadium.
