Jamshedpur FC defeated Mumbai City FC by 2-0 in the 100th match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
Jamshedpur FC played a wonderful game of football and was the deserving winner against Mumbai City FC. They have earned a win against the star-studded team who were made to look ordinary. Despite Mumbai City FC dominated the first half, it was Jamshedpur FC who had the better chances. Super-subs Boris Singh (72’) and David Grande (90’) scored for the Red Miners to ensure their deserving three important points. This victory took Jamshedpur FC to 24 points from 19 matches. With a win in its final clash against Bengaluru FC and a few other results going their way, they can make the final-four. On the other hand the loss further hampered Mumbai City FC’s chances of overtaking ATK Mohun Bagan in the ISL League Winners’ Shield race.

Next, Bengaluru FC will face FC Goa while Kerala Blasters FC will clash with Chennaiyin FC on Sunday.
Meanwhile ATK Mohun Bagan will play against Hyderabad FC on 22nd February while SC East Bengal will meet NorthEast United FC on 23rd February.
