ATK Mohun Bagan hold 10 men Hyderabad FC to 2-2 draw in the 103rd match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
The match was played in a fantastic temperament with Hyderabad FC playing more than 85 minutes with a man down as Chinglensana Singh was given marching order as he brought down Mohun Bagan forward David Williams, who was looking to get in a threatening position. The Nizams took the lead in the 8’ through Aridane Santana. Manvir Singh levelled for Mariners in 57’. Substitute Roland Alberg put Hyderabad back in the lead in 75’. However, Pritam Kotal equalized in the injury time to ensure points are shared in the match.
ATK Mohun Bagan though standing at top, but will have to wait till the last match against Mumbai City FC to ensure who wins the ISL League Winners Shield and also grab the opportunity to play AFC Champions League Group Stage. Hyderabad FC move into the 4th spot, a point ahead of NorthEast United FC, having played a game more. Hyderabad and FC Goa will have all to fight it out in their last match of the league stage. NorthEast United FC have the advantage now as they have two match remaining.
