Jamshedpur FC defeated Bengaluru FC by 3-2 in the 106th Match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at Tilak Maidan Stadium to finish sixth.
Football lovers witnessed a brilliant game of football. First half was dominated by the Men of Steel Edge while second half belonged to The Blues. Bengaluru FC would have felt that they should have deserved for a point but the compact defense of Jamshedpur FC denied The Blues one point. Stephen Eze (16′), Seiminlen Doungel (34′) and David Grande (41′) gave Jamshedpur FC a three goal lead in first half. However, Fran Gonzalez (62′) and Sunil Chhetri (71′) pulled back two for Bengaluru FC in second half.
Jamshedpur finished their campaign at the sixth position on the league table with 27 points while Bengaluru FC finished on seventh with 22 points.
The DHL Winning Pass of the Match Award was taken by Harmanjot Khabra. While Aitor Monroy bagged The Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match NorthEast United FC will play against Kerala Blasters FC.
SC East Bengal will face Odisha FC in their last match on 27th February. ATK Mohun Bagan will lock horn with Mumbai City FC on the last league match of this year’s edition of ISL Group Matches to decide the League Shield Winner.
