FC Goa defeated Chennaiyin FC 2-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goa on Saturday.
For FC Goa, Iker Guarrotxena in 11’ and Aakash Sangwan in 26’ scored the goals.
FC Goa are currently sitting on second place with 33 points from 17 matches, while Chennaiyin FC stayed on tenth place with 18 points from 18 games.
Aakash Sangwan of FC Goa was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
Next, FC Goa will face Jamshedpur FC on February 2, while Chennaiyin FC will face Kerala Blasters FC on January 30.
