FC Goa defeated Chennaiyin FC 3-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai on Sunday.
For FC Goa, Boris Singh Thangjam in 13′, Rowllin Borges in 24′ and Udanta Singh Kumam in 72′ scored the goals.
The win took FC Goa to pole position with 13 points from 5 matches. Both FC Goa and KBFC are on same points, but FC Goa had a better goal average and also had played one match less.
Meanwhile, Chennaiyin FC remained at seventh place with six points.
