FC Goa defeated Chennaiyin FC 4-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 at Fatorda Stadium on Sunday.
Thus FC Goa finished with 45 points from 22 matches, they are level on points with Mohun Bagan Super Giant, who have played a game fewer (21) than FC Goa currently.
Meanwhile, Chennaiyin FC who had already assured their place in play-off, finsihed with 27 points.
For FC Goa, Carlos Martinez scored a brace in 38’ & 72’, while Borja Herrera in 33’ and Brandon Fernandes in 45+3’ scored a goal each. Rahim Ali (13’) earlier, gave the visitors the lead.
