FC Goa defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-1 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 Match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goa on Sunday.
For FC Goa Iker Guarrotxena in 35′ through Penalty, Noah Sadaouiin 43′ and Redeem Tlangin 69′ scored the goals. The win helped the Gaurs end their four-game winless run in the league as they climbed to fifth place.
Meanwhile, for Kerala Blasters FC, Dimitrios Diamantakos scored in 51′. Kerala Blasters FC suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time since October. However, they remained at third position.
Brandon Fernandes won the Hero of the Match Award.
Next on January 26, FC Goa will host East Bengal FC.
