FC Goa defeated Mohun Bagan SG 2-1 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa in the Indian Super League (ISL) on Friday. With this win FC Goa extended their unbeaten streak to seven games.
Brison Fernandes scored a brace in 12’ and in 68’ for FC Goa. For Mohun Bagan SG, Dimitrios Petratos pulled back one in 55’.
Brison Fernandes was adjudged Key Performer of the match.
FC Goa remained on third place with 22 points and despite the loss Mohun Bagan SG remained at top of the table with 26 points.
Next, Mohun Bagan SG will face Punjab FC on December 26, while FC Goa will face Odisha FC on January 4.
