FC Goa bounced back to play a 2-2 draw with Kerala Blasters FC in Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 match at the Tilak Maidan Stadium here on Sunday.
For Kerala Blasters FC Jeakson (10′) and Luna (20′) scored the goals while for FC Goa Ortiz (24′) and Edu Bedia (38′) equalized.
After an exciting first half which saw four beautiful goals, the second half had none. The defenses were a lot better and there were not many chances created. FC Goa though were surely the better side in the second.
Kerala are now third in the points table with 14 points from nine games while Goa remain ninth having nine points from nine outings.
Jorge Ortiz won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, Jamshedpur FC will face Chennaiyin FC. Meanwhile SC East Bengal will next play against Bengaluru FC on January 04.
