Former Indian Goalkeeper Prasanta Dora passed away
We mourn the untimely demise of former Indian goalkeeper Prasanta Dora.
He was one of the goalkeeper who played for all three Kolkata giants, Mohammedan Sporting, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal. However, he started his career playing for Tollygunge Agragami at Kolkata Maidan. Later on he moved to Calcutta Port Trust before joining Mohammedan Sporting Club.

Prasanta played a key role when Bengal won Santosh Trophy in 1997-98 and in 1998-99. He made his India debut in 1999 against Thailand. He also represented India in SAF Games.
