France began its title defence in style with an emphatic 4-1 win over Australia in its Group D opener at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Al Wakrah, Qatar on Tuesday.
Socceroos took an early lead in 9′ through Graig Goodwin, but Les Blues came back strongly to score back four. For Les Blues, Adrien Rabiot in 27′, Olivier Giroud in 32′ & 71′ and Kylian Mbappe in 68′ scored the goals.
France next faces Denmark in its second group match on Saturday.
