Iker Guarrotxena’s brace helped FC Goa to settle for a 2-2 with Jamshedpur FC in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday.
Jamshedpur FC got the lead in 31′ with an own goal from Iker Guarrotxena. Iker Guarrotxena then equalized for FC Goa in 38′. Ishan Pandita, meanwhile, netted Jamshedpur FC’s second in 50′. Iker Guarrotxena then scored the second goal of the team in 90′ to ensure one point.
FC Goa moved to fourth place in league table with 19 points from 11 matches, while Jamshedpur FC stayed at 10th place with 5 points from 11 matches.
Iker Guarrotxena won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match on November 23, Bengaluru FC will take on Hyderabad FC.
