Hyderabad FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 3-1 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai on Saturday. The win kept Hyderabad FC on second position on the points table, behind Mumbai City FC with 19 points from nine matches while Chennaiyin FC, too, stayed in seventh position with 10 points from eight matches.
For Hyderabad FC, Halicharan Narzary in 65′, Chinglensana Singh in 74′ and Borja Herrera in 85′ scored the goals while for Chennaiyin FC Petar Sliskovic scored back one in 78′.
Chinglensana Singh won the Hero of the Match Award.
