Hyderabad FC defeated FC Goa 3-2 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim.
A brace from Bartholomew Ogbeche (25′, 41′) and a goal from Joao Victor (70′) saw Hyderabad FC overtake ATK Mohun Bagan. ATKMB had reached the top with a draw against Kerala Blasters earlier in the day. As for FCG, it was a second successive defeat that kept them in the ninth position. For FC Goa, Ortiz (35′) and Devendra (73′) scored the goals.
Hyderabad FC plays Kerala Blasters FC in their next fixture at the Athletic Stadium on Wednesday whereas FC Goa will face Mumbai City FC at the same venue on Saturday.
Bartholomew Ogbeche won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, Chennaiyin FC will take on Jamshedpur FC. Meanwhile, SC East Bengal will next play against Mumbai City FC at the PJN Stadium on Tuesday, February 22.
