Hyderabad FC defeated FC NorthEast United FC 5-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda.
Ogbeche scored in the 3’ and 60’ to take his tally to 14 goals this season and overall number to 49, one more than Sunil Chhetri and Ferran Corominas who have scored 48 goals in history of the league. Obgeche achieved the feat in just three and half years in India’s premier club competition.
Akash Mishra (45’), Nikhil Poojary (84’) and Edu Garcia (88’) scored the rest goals. Hyderabad FC moved to 26 points from 14 games. NorthEast United remained on 10 points from 15 matches.
Bartholomew Ogbeche won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, FC Goa will face Odisha FC. Meanwhile, SC East Bengal will face Chennaiyin FC in their next at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Wednesday.
