Hyderabad FC qualified for the semi-finals for the first time with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Kerala Blasters FC in Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 encounter at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Wednesday.

Bartholomew Ogbeche got Hyderabad FC in front in the 28’ with Javier Siverio doubling the margin in the 87’. Vincy Barretto scored a consolation goal for Kerala Blasters FC in stoppage time. Hyderabad FC moves to 35 points from 18 games and stay firmly in pole position. Kerala Blasters FC stay in fifth place with 27 points from 17 outings.

Juanan won the Hero of the Match Award.

In the next match, Odisha FC will take on ATK Mohun Bagan. Meanwhile, SC East Bengal will face NorthEast United FC at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Monday.
