Hyderabad FC recorded an emphatic 6-1 win over Odisha FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Tuesday.
Ogbeche scored a brace in the 39’ and 60’ after Hector Rodas turned one in his own net in the 9’ to hand Hyderabad an early lead. Edu Garcia (54’), Javier Siverio (72’) and Joao Victor (86’) scored the rest goals for Hyderabad FC. For Odisha, Juanan’s own goal in the 16’ to make it 1-1, but after that, it was one-way domination by Hyderabad FC.
The result means Hyderabad FC remain second in the points table with 15 points from eight games while Odisha are seventh in the table having 10 points from eight matches.
Bartholomew Ogbeche is now the top-scorer with eight goals to his name. He also bagged the Hero of the Match Award.
ATK Mohun Bagan will take on FC Goa in the next match. Meanwhile SC East Bengal will next play against Bengaluru FC on January 04.
