Hyderabad FC played a 2-2 draw with ATK Mohun Bagan to move to the top of the table in ISL 2021-22 at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Wednesday.
David Williams scored the fastest goal in Indian Super League history as he scored in just 12 seconds of the match. Bartholomew Ogbeche continued his goal scoring spree with an equaliser in the 18’.
An own goal from Asish Rai (64’) gave ATKMB the crucial lead in second half before substitute Javier Siverio flicked a loopy ball inside the box into the goal in 90’ to ensure HFC moves to the top of the league table.
Hyderabad edged past Mumbai City FC on goal difference. Both teams have 16 points from nine games in ISL 2021-22. ATK Mohun Bagan moved to the third spot with 15 points from nine outings.
Asish Rai won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match Jamshedpur FC will take on NorthEast United FC. Meanwhile SC East Bengal will next play against Mumbai City FC on January 07, Friday at Tilak Maidan Stadium.
