India climbed two spots to 104 in the latest FIFA ranking released in November. However, the AFC ranking remained at 19. Earlier in October India climbed one spot to 106.
India’s recent success in SAFF Championship and a decent performance in AFC Cup & World Cup Qualifier where the Blue Tigers finished third has helped them to rise in FIFA ranking for the last two months.
Coming to the Top 10 of FIFA Ranking, the biggest footballing names in international football continue to dominate the rankings. Belgium is still holding the No. 1 position, followed by Brazil, France, England, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and Netherlands.
