India defeated Bahrain 2-0 in AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers at the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Wednesday.
For India, Muhammed Suhail (32’) and Chingangbam Shivaldo Singh (90+5’) scored the goals.
In Group H, India will next face hosts Qatar on September 6 and Brunei Darussalam on September 9.
The group winners and the four best second-placed teams from the 11 groups will qualify for the AFC U23 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026.
