India defeated Bhutan 8-0 in SAFF U17 Women’s Championship 2025 at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu on Sunday.
For Young Tigresses, Anuskha Kumari (53’, 61’, 73’) scored three goals, Abhista Basnett (23’, 89’) scored a brace, while Pearl Fernandes (71’), Divyani Linda (77’), and Valaina Fernandes (90+2’) scored a goal each.
Earlier, India defeated Nepal 7-0 and Bangladesh 2-0. India have now scored 17 goals in three matches without conceding any. India is leading the points table with nine points.
India will next face Bhutan on August 27, Nepal on August 29, and Bangladesh on August 31.
