India defeated Chinese Taipei 3-1 in AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers Group D clash at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
Yang Hao-wei in 4’ gave Chinese Taipei the lead. while Captain Dallalmuon Gangte scored a hat-trick 32′, 77′, 79′) for Blue colts to ensure three important points.
Both India and Iran have four points from 2 matches, but Iran is placed on top of group D with better goal difference.
Earlier, India played a 1-1 draw with Palestine. India will next play Lebanon (November 28) and Islamic Republic of Iran (November 30). The group winners will qualify for the final tournament in Saudi Arabia next year.
