India defeated Iraq 5-0 in AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers at the 700th Anniversary of Chiang Mai Stadium on Wednesday.

The Blue Tigresses were leading by 2-0 in half-time.

Sangita Basfore in 14’, Manisha Kalyan in 44’, Karthika Angamuthu in 48’, Phanjoubam Nirmala Devi in 68’ and Nongmaithem Ratanbala Devi in 80’ scored the goals for India.

India now have three wins in three matches and will face host Thailand on July 5. The group winners will progress to final round. Earlier, they defeated Mongolia (13-0) and Timor-Leste (4-0).
