India defeated Mongolia 13-0 in AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers at the 700th Anniversary of Chiang Mai Stadium on Monday.
For Blue Tigresses, Pyari Xaxa scored 5 goals (29’, 45’, 46’, 52’, 55’), Soumya Guguloth (20’, 59’) and Priyadharshini Selladurai (73’, 86’) scored a brace each, while Sangita Basfore (8’), Rimpa Haldar (67’), Malavika (71), Grace Dangmei (75’ p) scored a goal each.
This was India biggest ever win in an AFC Women’s Asian Cup (final round and qualifiers). Earlier, the Blue Tigresses’ biggesr win was 10-0 against Guam in 1997 and 2005.
India will next face Timor Leste in June 29, Iraq on July 2 and host Thailand on July 5.
