India defeated host Myanmar 1-0 in Group D final match at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, on Sunday, to qualify for AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in two decades.
The Young Tigresses finished on top with seven points. The last time India qualified for the tournament, was back in 2006.
Pooja in 27′ scored the all-important goal of the match.
