Indian men’s football team booked its place in the semi-finals of the SAFF Championship 2023 with a 2-0 win over Nepal at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Sunil Chhetri (61’) and Mahesh Singh (70’) scored for the Indian football team, which also registered its eighth straight clean sheet in international matches.
The Blue Tigers are unbeaten in their last eight outings.
Sunil Chhetri had scored 91 goals and currently stands as the third-highest goal-scorer in international football among active players, behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
India will next play Kuwait on Tuesday.
