India defeated Nepal 3-0 to progress to the final of SAFF U17 Championship at the Racecourse International Stadium on Thursday.
The Blue Colts will face Bangladesh in final. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan 2-0 in the other semifinal.
For India, Wangkheirakpam Gunleiba in 61’, Azlaan Shah in 80’ and Diamond Singh Thokchom in 90+4’ scored the goals.
Earlier, India defeated Maldives 6-0, Bhutan 1-0 and Pakistan 3-2 in Group B.
India have won the title six times – 2013, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, finished runners-up twice in 2011, 2015, finished third once in 2018.
