India U17 Women’s team defeated Nepal U17 Women’s team by 4-1 in 2023 SAFF U17 Women’s Championship on Monday at BSSS Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
For India, Shilji Shaji scored a hat-trick in 10′, 40′, 81′ while Pooja scored the other goal in 41′.
For Nepal, Barsha Oli scored back one in 54′.
India will next face host Bangladesh on March 24.
The tournament is held in collaboration with UEFA. Besides India, hosts Bangladesh, defending champions Nepal, Bhutan and Russia is participating.
