India defeated Nepal 7-0 in SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship opener

India U-18 girls started their SAFF U-18 Championship campaign with a 7-0 win against Nepal in Jamshedpur at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Tuesday.

For India, Lynda Kom scored a brace in 17’ and 35’, Priyanka Sujeesh in 15’, Apurna in 69’, Purnima in 77’, Sunita Munda in 87’ and Nitu Linda scored in added time.

India next play Bangladesh on March 19.
