India dropped to 124 in latest FIFA Ranking released on June 20, 2024. The Blue Tigers were ranked 121 in the previous FIFA ranking.
This is also the worst ranking of India, since March 2017 when India was ranked 132. In 2023 July, India entered top 100 ranking after winning SAFF Championship, Intercontinental Cup and Tri-Nations Series.
However, the teams’s performance dropped as India lost nine of their 12 international matches which includes AFC Asian Cup and FIFA World Cup qualification.
