India lost its opening match 1-2 to Bangladesh in the SAFF U20 Championship at the Kalinga Stadium here on Wednesday.
For Bangladesh striker Md Piash Ahmed Nova scored a brace, while Gurkirat Singh netted one for India. All the three goals came in the first half.
India next play Sri Lanka on August 29.
