India’s dream for qualifying in AFC U20 Asian Cup 2023 comes to an end as they lost to Australia 1-4 in AFC U20 Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers at the Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Kuwait City on Sunday.
This was India’s second consecutive defeat as they lost to Iraq 2-4 in the first match of Group H.
For Australia, Garng Koul 12’, Bikash Yumnam 32’ (OG), Adrian Segecic 86’ and Max Caputo 90+2’ scored the goals while for India Gurkirat Singh scored back one in 62’.
India will next play against host Kuwait on October 18.
