India lost to Lebanon 2-0 in AFC U17 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers Group D match at EKA Arena in Ahmedabad on Friday.
For Lebanon, Antoine Assaf in 26′ and Paul Maakaroun in 38′ scored the goals.
Despite the loss, Blue Colts still have chance to qualify for AFC U17 Asian Cup, if they defeat group leaders IR Iran.
IR Iran is at top with seven points from three games, Lebanon on second place with six points from four games, while India is at third place with four points. If India defeat IR Iran then on better head to head record will qualify.
Earlier, India played a 1-1 draw with Palestine. India will face Islamic Republic of Iran on November 30.
