India lost to Russia 2-0, finished Third in SAFF U17 Women’s Championship

The India U17 team put on a good performance before eventually going down to Russia in their final game of the SAFF U17 Women’s Championship campaign on Tuesday at at BSSS Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Dhaka.

For Russia, Vasilisa Avlienko in 10’ and Daria Kotlova in 13 (P)’ scored the goals.

The Young Tigresses finished third on the table, winning two and losing two games in the tournament. Earlier, India defeated Nepal 4-1 and Bhutan 9-0, lost to host Bangladesh 1-0.
