23-member India Squad announced by head coach Bibiano Fernandes on Friday for SAFF U17 Championship 2025.
The Blue Colts are drawn in Group B with Maldives, Bhutan and Pakistan. India will face Maldives on September 16, Bhutan on September 19 and Pakistan on September 22.
Host Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal are clubbed in Group A.
India have won the title six times – 2013, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, finished runners-up twice in 2011, 2015, finished third once in 2018.
Bangladesh had won the title twice in 2015 & 2018 while Pakistan won the inaugural edition in 2011.
Nepal finished runners-up four times – 2013, 2017, 2019, 2022, Bangladesh twice – 2023, 2024 and Pakistan once in 2018.
