India started their SAFF U16 Women’s Championship 2024 with 7-0 win against Bhutan at ANFA Complex, Lalitpur, Nepal.
For Young Tigresses, Anushka Kumari scored three in 17′, 27′, 40′, Pearl Fernandes scored a brace in 13′, 26′, while Shveta Rani in 6′ and Anwita Raghuraman in 61′ scored a goal each.
The four-team tournament also features hosts Nepal and Bangladesh. The two top teams will play the final on March 10, 2024.
